Commission Selects Ellen Brown as Chief, Finance and
Accounting

Ellen
Brown has been selected to serve as Chief, Finance and Accounting,
in the Commission's Office of Technical and Regulatory Analysis,
effective May 14, 2007. Ms. Brown served as a Financial
Analyst with the Commission for the past 15 years. Her duties
involve advising on many aspects of gas, electric, and telecommunications
regulation. Prior to joining the Commission, Ms. Brown was
an analyst with consulting firms specializing in utility
matters.
Ms.
Brown earned a B.A. degree from Denison University in Ohio
and an M.B.A. degree from The George Washington University
in the District of Columbia. She also was awarded the designation
of Chartered Financial Analyst. Ms. Brown is on the National
Association of Regulatory Commissioners' Staff Subcommittee
on Accounting and Finance and a member of the Society of
Utility and Regulatory Financial Analysts.
