Benita Anderson joined the Commission on January 22, 2008 as the Chief Human Resources Officer. She brings a wealth of personnel experience to the Commission.

Ms. Anderson has worked with the District of Columbia Government for twenty years, serving as both an Human Resource Advisor and an Administrative Officer. Ms. Anderson began her District Government career with the Buildings Management Administration of the Department of Administrative Services (DAS). Later, this agency merged with several other agencies to create what is now called the Office of Property Management where she worked before joining the Public Service Commission staff. Ms. Anderson is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is a certified public manager.
