  • At least 37 CLECs provided service in DC.
  • CLECs had 7.3% of lines. (US average was 10.3%)
  • CLECs’ share of residential lines was 7.3%. (10 companies)
  • CLECs’ share of commercial lines was 6.1%. (16 companies)
  • CLECs had 42% of local DC telecommunications industry revenues.
  • CLEC revenues were $199 million; more than double the revenues as of the end of 2000.
