  • At least 37 CLECs provided service in DC.
  • CLECs had 11.5% of lines. (U.S. average was 13.2%.)
  • CLECs’ share of residential lines was 11.5%. (14 companies)
  • CLECs’ share of commercial lines was 11.7%. (24 companies)
  • CLECs had 40% of local DC telecommunications industry revenues.
  • CLEC revenues were $171 million compared with $199 million as of the end of 2001.
