  • At least 40 CLECs provided service in DC.
  • CLECs had 15.4% of lines. (U.S. average 16.3%)
  • CLECs’ share of residential lines was 14.9%. (19 companies)
  • CLECs’ share of commercial lines was 15.5%. (30 companies)
  • CLECs had 26% of local DC telecommunications industry revenues.
  • CLEC revenues were $90 million compared with $171 million as of the end of 2002.
